EQUIPMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

New Hampshire Telecommunications Equipment Assistance Program (NH-TEAP) offers equipment for New Hampshire residents with a disability that interferes with the use of the telephone. Individuals who are experiencing difficulty using their current telephone equipment are encouraged to apply to receive assistive equipment through the NH-TEAP.

WHAT TYPE OF EQUIPMENT AND SERVICE ARE AVAILABLE?
The program provides a wide range of equipment. Some examples include, but are not limited to: TTYs, amplified telephones, electro larynx and signaler devices. The NDHHS program coordinator will assist you in deciding what equipment will best meet your needs.

WHO QUALIFIES FOR THE PROGRAM?
Anyone who is a New Hampshire resident and has a disability that makes it difficult to use a phone, qualifies for financial assistance and support in finding the equipment that best meets their needs. Each participant must complete an application and return it to Northeast Deaf & Hard of Hearing Services (NDHHS) for approval.
